Just this evening I had one of my “crazy thoughts” and I just had to write about it. As many of you know, pissing off the establishment is definitely something that I’m not just good at, but really enjoy doing. Driving home from fishing on Monday night, I was listening to Allen Combes on the radio and during the news break, I heard that three Kentucky Congressmen; Representatives Geoff Davis, Brett Guthrie and Ed Whitfield received letters at their offices recently containing white powder and a hand written note that stated that the powder was Anthrax.

As usual, I immediately began to think about other toxic substances and came up with a purely hypothetical, yet ingenious thought. Now the person that sent this letter with the white powder (that turned out to be an artificial sweetener …also toxic by the way) is of course a criminal and I’m certain that the feds are looking into the incident and will pursue this person and treat the incident as a criminal and terrorist act.

Now, what would happen if I sent my Congressman or even perhaps Health and Human Services Secretary Sebelius an envelope that was dipped in the exact amount of Thimerosal that my son was injected with in one doctors visit right here in Galesburg, Illinois? Thimerosal is a mercury containing preservative that is still found in vaccines today, despite what your doctor or health department official will try to tell you.  Mercury is toxic at 2 ppb (parts per billion) and the amount of mercury that was injected into my son would be thousands of times greater than this.

Keep in mind that this is purely a hypothetical situation to prove a point and I in no way would attempt to do this or would suggest that anyone else do so. Were I to do this however, I can guarantee you that the secret service would be at my door in no time! Unfortunately, I’m not quite sure what they could charge me with. If it’s considered poisonous to send to an elected or appointed government official, why would they advocate and mandate injecting it into our children? If a vial of Thimerosal were to break in a government lab, a hazmat team would be called to clean up. Were a vial to break in the halls of Congress, they would have to be evacuated immediately…Yet they inject this into our children!

Perhaps this is something that our very own Congressman Hare would like to look into. A personal challenge to Mr. Hare; call whoever it is you call about things like this and ask them how they would handle a situation like this. Would I be jailed as a terrorist for sending an envelope to you that had the very same amount of mercury that the government that you represent suggests should be injected into our children? If so, shouldn’t this matter be looked into further?

The government needs to get off its ass and start truly protecting our children from the pharmaceutical industry and corporate shills. Unfortunately, the corporate shills are the government. Democrat or Republican? who the hell cares anymore? They are all bought and paid for and our men and women of the armed services are fighting and dying for a country that has failed our children miserably. We should all be ashamed for allowing this to happen…especially our elected officials!
